This page explains the boundary between this corporate website and any separate patient-facing service that may have its own HIPAA or medical privacy materials.

benchlinehealth.com is a corporate website. It is not a patient portal, provider website, pharmacy website, laboratory website, telehealth service, prescription service, payment checkout, or clinical-service website.

Benchline Health does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, pharmacy services, laboratory services, emergency care, crisis support, payment processing, or patient support through this corporate Site. Using this Site does not create a provider-patient, clinician-patient, pharmacist-patient, laboratory-patient, therapist-patient, or similar healthcare relationship with Benchline or any affiliated brand, medical group, pharmacy, laboratory, clinician, or other healthcare provider.

When HIPAA May Apply

HIPAA generally applies to covered entities, such as certain health plans, healthcare clearinghouses, and healthcare providers that engage in covered transactions, and to business associates that create, receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information on behalf of a covered entity or another business associate.

Benchline may support or work with healthcare organizations, brands, vendors, professional entities, pharmacies, laboratories, or partners in different capacities. Whether HIPAA applies to a particular data flow depends on the specific service, entity, relationship, data type, purpose, contract, and legal role involved.

The fact that a website discusses health topics does not, by itself, mean all information collected through that website is protected health information. The fact that information is not protected health information under HIPAA also does not mean it is unprotected; other privacy, consumer health data, medical privacy, consumer-protection, confidentiality, or contract requirements may apply.

No Notice Of Privacy Practices On This Site

A HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices is generally provided by the covered entity responsible for the applicable healthcare service. If you use a separate patient-facing service associated with a Benchline brand, medical group, pharmacy, laboratory, payment processor, or care partner, that service may have its own privacy notice, HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, telehealth consent, terms, refund terms, prescription terms, pharmacy disclosures, laboratory disclosures, payment disclosures, and other legal materials. Those materials will apply to that separate service.

Eligibility, clinical appropriateness, prescriptions, medication access, pharmacy dispensing, laboratory testing, refills, adverse-event reporting, refunds, and patient support are not handled through this corporate Site unless a separate service expressly says otherwise.

Emergency And Patient Support

Do not use this Site for emergencies, urgent symptoms, crisis support, adverse events, medication reactions, refill requests, lab-result questions, or patient support.
